Description: French 3 is designed for students who have successfully completed French 2 or who have had 3-4 years of high school French or its equivalent. The course meets for three class hours per week + one day of web portfolio assignments. The focus of the course is on real-life language use, the integration of language and culture, and the development of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The methodology used is communicative and literacy-based, meaning that in every chapter of the book you will be learning language in order to perform a variety of interpersonal, presentational and interpretive tasks. You can expect to engage in pair and group work on a regular basis and to participate actively in class.
